Civic Partnerships

Voit’s financial stability and long-standing relationships with some of the nation’s states and cities have allowed it to grow and prosper through a series of economic cycles. In addition, the firm has provided desired projects for the communities in which it works.

Serving as LA's City Hall for the Valley and housing offices for all City Departments, Voit completed the Marvin Braude Constituent Service Center for the City of Los Angeles $2 million under budget, and 5 months ahead of schedule. At the ribbon-cutting ceremony, then Los Angeles Mayor James Hahn said “This is an example of how a public-private partnership should work.”

The former mayor of The City of Mesa, Arizona, the honorable Wayne Brown, announced regarding Voit’s bringing tenants such as AT&T and Ford Motor Company to his city, “The City of Mesa is greatly benefiting from Voit Real Estate Services’ involvement here. Voit understands the importance of working with The City, the business community and the residents to create projects which are win-win for all parties.”

In addition, Voit remodeled a Department of Building and Safety office for the City of Los Angeles, and redeveloped a vacant 70-acre, 1.75 million square feet former General Motors Plant site into a new R&D park and large retail center in the midst of a previously blighted urban area. The project sparked a tremendous rejuvenation, including decreased crime, increased employment by 3,000 jobs and increased land values for the entire surrounding community.
